Geometric Shapes

Learning shapes is an important early childhood skill that provides the foundation for future literacy, math and science skills.  

Shapes are all around us and we use the concepts of geometry every day without realizing it.  With our new board children will learn:  to recognize geometric shapes associate the shape of a figure with its name locate the correct position of the wedge on the board correctly form each geometric shape with either the wedge or the outline of the board to write, since they will have practiced all the lines and curves that exist in all 24 letters of the alphabet.
